SINGAPORE - President Tony Tan Keng Yam joining pre-schoolers from My First Skool for a story-telling session at the Asian Civilisations Museum yesterday.
He was visiting the children's exhibition, Once Upon A Time in Asia: The Story Tree, as part of his community engagement programme. His host for the hour-long visit was Minister for Culture, Community and Youth, Mr Lawrence Wong.
The President said it was "heartening" to see children visiting the museum and that such visits were important to remind them of Singapore's roots.
The exhibition ends on Nov 2. Admission is free.
