Haze likely to stay in moderate range tomorrow

SINGAPORE - The 24-hour Pollutant Standards Index (PSI) is expected to be in the "moderate" range for the next 24 hours, the National Environment Agency (NEA) has said.

In its update today (Oct 11), NEA said that air quality in Singapore has been in the Moderate range "with generally good visibility across most parts of the island".

The winds are forecast to "be weak and blow from the southeast" tomorrow. "Occasional slight haze can be expected", NEA said, although it added that the 24-hour PSI may enter the low end of the "unhealthy" range if denser haze is blown in.
