'I don’t care about my car, just return my dog'

PETALING JAYA - Advertising company co-owner Gursharan Singh, 34, has not had a proper meal or sufficient sleep since he lost his dog last Wednesday.

His seven-year-old Jack Russel Terrier, Pixie, was seated in his Mitsubishi Triton when a car thief drove the vehicle away at about 11pm outside a bank in Sungai Buloh.

"I parked my car very near a bank and went in to deposit some cheques.

"I took about ten minutes and when I came out I saw the man driving my car away with Pixie in it," said Gursharan Monday.

Gursharan says he is worried sick about Pixie.

"I don't care about the car and just want Pixie back," said Gursharan adding he has been crying incessantly since the incident.

Gursharan, who lived alone with Pixie, said he missed his pet very much and could not bear being at home as he was reminded about her.

"I love her very much and do not know how I am going to continue living without her.

"When I am back home, she never leaves my side and also sleeps with me on my bed," said Gursharan, who has raised Pixie since she was four months old.

He has made posters and posted them over social media offering a RM1,000 reward to anyone who returns Pixie back to him.

He said Pixie only ate home-cooked food and is also on long term medication due to health issues.

"I feel as if a whole chunk of my life is gone," said Gursharan who has been searching for Pixie with his girlfriend C. Shamini since she went missing.
