It's the sail worth waiting for

The Republic of Singapore Navy's RSS Endeavour is one of more than 50 ships in Sydney, Australia, for the International Fleet Review.

The event commemorates the centenary of the first entry of the Australian Navy's Fleet into Sydney. It started on Thursday and will last until Friday.

The fleet was reviewed by Australia's Governor-General Quentin Bryce on Saturday. Midshipmen on board the RSS Endeavour for their Midshipman Sea Training Deployment will also take part in a Combined Navies Parade.

The Singapore Armed Forces and the Australian Defence Force have extensive interactions, including bilateral and multilateral exercises and professional exchanges, and have worked together in reconstruction efforts in Afghanistan.
