Jordan's King Abdullah II to visit Singapore from Feb 24 to 25

SINGAPORE - His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan will make a State Visit to Singapore from February 24 to 25 at the invitation of President Tony Tan Keng Yam.

This will be King Abdullah II's second State Visit to Singapore.

President Tan will receive a call by King Abdullah II at the Istana and host a State Banquet in His Majesty's honour on January 24. King Abdullah II will also be hosted to lunch by Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong on February 25.

In addition, King Abdullah II will meet business leaders at a Round Table organised by the Singapore Business Federation as well as visit the Institute of Technical Education College East and the Civil Service College.

King Abdullah II will be accompanied by Chief Advisor to King Abdullah II on Religious and Cultural Affairs and Personal Envoy His Royal Highness Prince Ghazi Bin Muhammad and a high-level delegation including Chief of the Royal Hashemite Court His Excellency Fayez Tarawneh, Minister of Foreign Affairs His Excellency Nasser Judeh, Director of King Abdullah II's Office His Excellency Imad Fakhoury and Minister of Industry and Trade His Excellency Hatim Al Halawani Al Tamimi.
