Largest indoor floral display to be held at One Raffles Place mall

SINGAPORE - Shoppers heading to One Raffles Place shopping mall this month will be greeted with a shower of flowers at the atrium from July 24 to 27.

The five-storey high Floating Garden will feature over 9,000 gerberas hanging from the ceiling of the shopping mall atrium with embellishments of hydrangea flowers.

Designed by established Japanese flower designer Dan Takeda, whose previous workds have been featured in displays of luxury brands such as Louis Vuitton and Gucci, the Floating Garden is expected to be one of Singapore's largest hanging floral displays in a mall.

Mr Takeda said: "I was inspired by the skyscrapers in Singapore, and how everything grows vertially in this beautiful garden city.

"The Floating Garden display fully utilises the space in the atrium, creating an oasis in the heart of the city that is One Raffles Place shopping mall."
