I live in a condominium facing some landed properties. For more than a year, my family has been woken up every morning at 5.30am by the loud, piercing reverse alarm of a lorry parked in front of the houses.
The lorry owner lives in an HDB flat nearby. Are lorry owners allowed to park their vehicles in private residential estates if they are not living there? I understand there are designated parking spaces for lorries at HDB carparks.
Also, is there a rule on how loud a reverse alarm should be?
