Loyal TNP reader wins iPad Mini

Mr Peter Wong bought two copies of TNP on Mondays to increase his chances of winning.

SINGAPORE - He has been reading The New Paper for more than 20 years.

On Thursday, he was rewarded for his loyalty.

Mr Peter Wong, who is in his 50s, won a black 16GB iPad Mini.

Said Mr Wong, who is semi-retired: "I'm so happy. I will give this to my 17-year-old son.

"He was just asking me to buy one two weeks ago, because he likes to surf the Net and watch videos online."

Mr Wong buys his daily copy of The New Paper from the 7-Eleven store at Potong Pasir MRT station.

Since the start of the contest earlier this month, he has bought two copies every Monday to get two TNP Bonus Challenge cards to increase his chances of winning.

He said: "Even without the challenge, I buy TNP every day for its extensive sports coverage. I'm a sports fan and follow the English Premier League."
