Malaysia's defence minister calls on PM Lee

SINGAPORE - Malaysian Minister of Defence and Acting Minister of Transport Dato’ Seri Hishammuddin bin Tun Hussein, who is in Singapore to attend the Singapore Airshow, called on Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong at the Istana on Thursday.

Both leaders welcomed the growing cooperation between Singapore and Malaysia and encouraged further collaboration and exchanges, particularly in the areas of defence and transport.

They also had a wide-ranging discussion on regional and international developments.
