SINGAPORE: Police have arrested a 47-year-old man for housebreaking along Mei Ling Street.
Police said they were alerted to a break-in on Monday at 8.30am, where a radio and a digital camera amounting to $450 were stolen from a unit.
Through CCTV images, officers managed to arrest the suspect on the same day at 11pm at Stirling Road. A radio was seized as a case exhibit.
The suspect will be charged in court on Wednesday for housebreaking and theft. If found guilty, he faces imprisonment for up to 14 years.
