SINGAPORE - Police have arrested a 64-year-old male suspect for allegedly using a chopper to attack a 53 year old man.

At about 7pm yesterday, the Police was alerted by a member of public to an injured person found at a coffeeshop along Clementi Avenue 3.

If found guilty, he can be imprisoned up to seven years, fined, caned, or with any combination of these punishments.

The Police said that such acts of violence will not be condoned and the authorities will spare no efforts to track down, apprehend the perpetrators and bring them to justice.
