
SINGAPORE - A man was arrested after his car crashed into a sign at Suntec City's Fountain of Wealth on Wednesday afternoon (Feb 10).
According to Channel NewsAsia, the police arrested a 40-year-old man for driving under the influence of intoxicating substances. The driver reportedly consumed cough syrup.
Eyewitness Mr Peter Wang said: "The car just lost control and went up the kerb and hit the sign of the Fountain of Wealth."
About 10 people gathered at the scene and they attempted to rouse the driver, he added.
Meanwhile, Suntec City property manager Anthony Yip said it was a "minor traffic accident" that did not cause property damage.
Traffic police are investigating the incident.
