Man arrested for causing nuisance

A man was arrested for causing nuisance and assaulting the staff of a shopping mall located along Syed Alwi Road.

At about 8.38am on Saturday, the police spotted the visit pass holder, who appeared drunk and was unable to provide an account of his presence, at the said location.

The 22-year-old was earlier advised to leave the shopping mall, but he caused a nuisance and refused to leave, the police said in a statement yesterday.

The suspect also assaulted the staff of the shopping mall.

He will be charged in court today.
