
SINGAPORE - Police have arrested a 36-year-old man believed to be involved in breaking into a clinic and committing theft.
According to a police statement on Tuesday, a case of housebreaking at a clinic in the vicinity of Commonwealth Drive was reported on Dec 14. Several bottles of cough mixture amounting to $300 were also stolen.
After extensive investigations, the police established the suspect's identity and arrested him in the vicinity of Clementi Avenue 5 on Dec 16.
The suspect will be charged in court on Dec 18 for housebreaking and theft and will be liable to imprisonment for up to 14 years if convicted.
