Man arrested for robbery and assault

SINGAPORE - Police have arrested a 46-year-old man who is believed to be responsible for robbing and assaulting a 45-year-old man.

He allegedly robbed the man's jewellery at Woodlands Drive 60 on April 27 at 12.30am. Police arrested the man at Woodlands Circle on April 29 at about 12.30am.

He will be charged in Court for an offence of Robbery with Hurt under Section 394 of the Penal Code, Chapter 224, which carries a jail term between 5 and 20 years, and not less than 12 strokes of the cane.
