Man impaled by rod after accident at Jurong Island

A photo is circulating online that shows a horrific accident that reportedly occurred at Jurong Island, Singapore.
The photo showed a man who was impaled by a long rod, which was pierced through his genitals and can be seen extending all the way to his left armpit.
A Facebook user, Golam Mawla, shared the photo online, and it quickly went viral.
According to the user, the incident happened on May 25.
It is unclear how the accident happened.
The Facebook description reads: "Lucky the injured person is alive. So work with safe by your respective responsibility and awareness wherever you work (sic), even those we who are used to working in construction site every day."
