SELANGOR, Malaysia - China Press reported that a man slit his brother-in-law's throat after he failed to get back money he had lent to the latter.
The suspect sneaked into the victim's house and slit his throat while the victim was asleep in Ampang Jaya, Selangor, at about 2am on Monday.
The victim, a stall helper, then rushed to his wife for help.
He received 50 stitches and is still in critical condition. Police are investigating the case.
