SINGAPORE - The Ministry of Manpower (MOM) has filed a second police report on Friday after discovering another duplicate of its website, www.mom.gov.sg.

Here is the update from MOM:

Hi, everyone. The domain name of the duplicate website - www.momgov.sg - has been deleted at 11.36pm on 29 Nov 2013, but it will take about 48 hours for servers worldwide to effect the deletion. This means that some of you may still be able to view the website till then.

Separately, we have also discovered a second duplicate website on 30 Nov 2013 - www.movgov.sg. We have also lodged a report with the Police.

Just as what Acting Minister (Manpower) Mr Tan Chuan-Jin pointed out in his Facebook post on 29 Nov 2013, we would like to caution everyone that a small variation in the URL (in these cases, a full-stop or a misspelling) can make a whole world of difference!

We would also like to reassure you that access to the official MOM website remains unaffected. There have also not been any reports of user data being compromised to date.

We urge the public to only use the official MOM website at www.mom.gov.sg for all MOM matters.
