Measures to ease processes for private schools

SINGAPORE - The Council for Private Education said yesterday that it will be implementing several measures to cut the administrative burden and compliance costs for private schools by year end.

For instance, the schools will have up to seven working days to purchase insurance for course fees paid by students. Currently, they need to buy insurance on the same day the course fees are paid.
