MOE to increase school fees for non-Singaporeans in 2016

The Ministry of Education (MOE) will be revising the school fees for Singapore permanent residents (PR) and international students (IS) in Government and Government-aided schools from Jan next year.

In a statement released Wednesday, MOE said this revision is done as part of the Ministry's periodic review of school fees and also to further differentiate fees by citizenship.

School fees will be raised by between $20 and $60 monthly for students who are PR and by between $20 and $150 monthly for IS.

School fees for Singapore citizens will not change. The standard miscellaneous fees will also remain unchanged.
