MOE releases school vacation dates for 2016

SINGAPORE - The dates for vacation periods for schools, junior colleges and the Millenia Institute have been released by the Ministry of Education (MOE) on Monday, Sep 16.

The four vacation periods for primary and secondary schools will be from Mar 12 to Mar 20, May 28 to Jun 26, Sep 3 to Sep 11 and Nov 19 to Dec 31.

Students in junior colleges and the Millenia Institute will begin their last vacation period will begin from Nov 26, except for final year students who will begin their holidays after the end of their 'A' Level examinations.

Meanwhile, MOE also said that there will be four more scheduled school holidays in 2016. They are Youth Day on Jul 3, the day after National Day on Aug 10, Teachers' Day on Sep 2, and Children's Day for primary schools and primary sections of full schools on Oct 7.
