Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) officers have uncovered a haul of drugs in a Malaysia-registered lorry at Woodlands Checkpoint on Friday, Dec 4.
ICA said its officers stopped the vehicle for routine checks at about 2.20pm that day and found a consignment of 23 pieces of pre-stressed planks.
About 1.4kg of heroin and 1kg of cannabis were found within the trailer cabin during the inspection.
The haul of drugs is estimated to be worth approximately $130,400.
The lorry's 27-year-old male Malaysian driver and the seized items were referred to the Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) for further investigations.
