Multiple road closures and restrictions during SEA Games

SINGAPORE - Motorists are advised to take note of the multiple road closures and restrictions which will take place during the 28th SEA Games starting on May 29.

Singapore Southeast Asian Games Organising Committee (SINGSOC) and the Land Transport Authority (LTA) said the sporting event will be held across 31 venues in Singapore and delays are expected.

The affected area and venues are: 

They encourage motorists and spectators attending the events to commute by public transport to ensure the smooth running of certain sports and events.

Ticket holders are also advised to arrive early for the events due to the screening processes.

The SEA Games will feature 36 sports and will host more than 7,000 athletes and officials from 11 Southeast Asian countries.
