My memories: Friendships forged in corridor

My memories: Friendships forged in corridor

SINGAPORE - "I grew up living in a Housing Board block. When I was younger, I would always play in the corridor with my neighbours. We would run or cycle to each other's flats, even if they were just two doors away.

"The corridor was where I played my first game of catch, had my first experience gardening, and my first fall from a bicycle.

"It was also where a whole tea set would be set up and my neighbours and I would pretend to sell 'tea' to neighbours walking by.

"Many friendships and memories were forged in a simple corridor... Uniquely Singapore!"
