SINGAPORE - "Most of my childhood memories were formed in Pasir Ris Park, a place my family frequented almost every weekend.
"This climbing net brought out the daredevil in me and the picture was taken on the day I reached the top. Clutching the metal pole, I scanned the crowd for my mother. Catching her eye, I smiled widely, screaming 'Mummy, I did it!'
"My mum waved at me while a few other mums clapped for me, telling me to climb down slowly.
"I learnt at a young age that though we may be strangers, Singaporeans always have each other's back."
