Nanis jewellery is the ultimate multitasker

Nanis jewellery is the ultimate multitasker

SINGAPORE - The modern woman takes on many roles. Not only is she a career woman; she is also a mother, daughter, wife and girlfriend at the same time.

Laura Bicego knows this only too well. The head designer and co-founder of fine Italian jewellery line Nanis herself wears many hats and understands how important it is to look fabulous whether in the office, or with family. So her designs are inspired by the multitasking personality of the modern woman.

If you are proud of your awesome multitasking skills, wait till you witness how many transformations the pieces from the Nanis collection "Dancing in the Rain" can make. Inspired by a sudden summer storm she was caught in and the post-storm rainbow, she created delicate pieces by combining textured gold beads and a kaleidoscope of blue topaz, amethyst, rose quartz and more.

These ingenious pieces are multi-wear - the bracelet can be stacked or linked to become a necklace and the necklace can be twirled about the wrist into a bracelet. But that's not all - the same necklace can be worn as a choker, in a Y-shaped style, with a scarf for another necklace variation, as a headpiece and even a belt. The possibilities are endless, and great for taking one's outfit from day to night.

Besides the multi-wear functionality of Nanis jewellery, its rich, textured finishes are also revered. Master jewellers hand etch each piece with only a ribbed burin tool. The time-consuming process pays off in the form of a lustrous look and durable finish that is surprisingly smooth to the touch.

For the first time in Singapore, Nanis jewellery will be available exclusively at Goldheart boutiques at Ion Orchard, International Building, Great World City and from October 25 2013 onwards, Plaza Singapura.
