No (online) relief in rush for Hello Kitty

It was meant to make things easier for Singapore's many rabid Hello Kitty fans but McDonald's online launch of the Bubbly World Series collector's set saw such strong traffic that sales had to be suspended briefly.

By evening, some people had already started selling their sets on eBay for large profits.
