SINGAPORE - Students who took the O-level exams last year will receive their results on Monday.
They can collect the results from their secondary schools at 2pm, while private candidates will receive theirs through the post.
The scores can be used to apply for places in junior colleges, the Millennia Institute, polytechnics and the Institute of Technical Education through the Joint Admissions Exercise or Joint Polytechnic Special Admissions Exercise.
Registration for both exercises will begin at 3pm on Jan 13 and end at 4pm on Jan 17. Posting results will be out tentatively on Feb 5.
Normal (Academic) students who are eligible can apply for the Polytechnic Foundation Programme (PFP) and the Direct Entry Scheme to Polytechnic Programme (DPP).
Applications for the PFP can be submitted from 2pm on Jan 13 to 4pm on Jan 17. Posting results will be out at 2pm on Jan 21.
Students can start applying for the DPP from 2.30pm on Jan 13 until before midnight on Jan 16. Posting results will be released at 9am on Jan 21.
For current Secondary 5 students who successfully applied for the PFP or DPP, the last day of school is Jan 30. They will be informed by the polytechnics about the dates of enrolment.
