Old is gold at pet adoption drive

Eight-year-old Jenny Liu with Mack, a seven-year-old "Singapore Special" dog, at the Oldies Only Senior Pet Adoption Drive at *Scape Art Park in Orchard yesterday.

The non-profit nationwide campaign advocates the adoption and welfare of senior pets, as older shelter or abandoned animals are the least likely to find new homes.

Many of them live out the remainder of their lives in shelters, or are euthanised to make room for other animals.
