Party at ZoukOut 2013 without any cash

SINGAPORE - This year's dance music festival ZoukOut 2013 will be a cashless affair thanks to a tie-up between EZ-Link Pte Ltd and Zouk.
EZ-link cashless payment systems will be implemented on-site, making it the first time in ZoukOut's 13-year history that party-goers can simply "tap and go" for their drink purchases with an ez-link card.
Commenting on the collaboration between EZ-Link Pte Ltd and Zouk, the latter's marketing head Mr Timothy Chia said:"[this] will elevate ZoukOut's status as a world-class music festival and set a cashless trend for outdoor dance parties."
Mr Nicholas Lee, CEO of EZ-Link Pte Ltd added: "Instead of having to fumble with cash for purchases at the event, with the ez-link card, partygoers can focus on having a great time. For overseas visitors, they can use the same ez-link card beyond the event for commuting around Singapore, shopping and dining."
EZ-Link and Zouk are also launching ZoukOut Limited Edition ez-link cards as a ZoukOut 2013 memento.
These limited edition cards designed by Zouk will be made available for purchase prior to the event from TransitLink Ticket Offices at City Hall, Orchard, Bugis, Changi Airport, Chinatown, Lavendar, Farrer Park, Woodlands and Somerset MRT stations.
The cards, which cost $10.00 (excluding stored value), will be available from Nov 25 to Dec 11, as well as at the festival grounds on Dec 13 and 14.
There will be top-up stations around the island, as well as at the party venue, for revelers to add value by credit card or cash.
EZ-link cardholders who top up their ez-link card with $50 or more using a Citibank credit card will be entitled to one free alcoholic drink.
ZoukOut 2013 will take place on the 13th and 14th of December 2013 at the Siloso Beach, Sentosa. For more information, go to www.zoukout.com
