PM Lee sends condolences over deadly Genting bus crash

SINGAPORE - Prime Minister (PM) Lee Hsien Loong has written a letter to Prime Minister of Malaysia Dato' Sri Najib Razak to convey his condolences on the bus accident in Genting Highlands on Aug 21, 2013. 

Here is PM Lee's condolence letter: 

Dear Prime Minister Najib,

I was deeply saddened to learn of the tragic bus accident near Genting Highlands. It is unfortunate that a trip to Genting for leisure ended up taking so many innocent lives.

On behalf of the Government and people of Singapore, I express our sincere condolences to you, the families of the victims and the people of Malaysia on your terrible loss. I wish the injured a full and speedy recovery.

Our thoughts are with you and your people during your time of grief.
