Police arrest 128 in anti-crime operations

SINGAPORE - 128 suspects were arrested in a series of anti-crime operations by police between October 1 to 4, 2015.

The operation targeted illicit and criminal activities at various locations, including public entertainment outlets and massage establishments, according to a police statement.

A total of 50 men and 78 women aged between 18 to 76 were arrested for a variety of offences, including illegal employment, unlicensed moneylending and illegal punting.

Investigations are still ongoing.
