Police arrest 4 men for affray in Little India

Four male suspects have been arrested by the police for committing affray on April 1 at about 10.31pm.

According to statement issued to the media, the police was alerted of a male subject being carried into a grey van after he was assaulted by three people at the open carpark at the vicinity of Chander Road.

The identities of the suspects and the registration number of the van were subsequently established after officers from the Central Police Division and Criminal Investigation Department conducted extensive ground enquiries which included the viewing of CCTV footage.

The four suspects were arrested on April 2 along Kang Ching Road.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the group had consumed liquor and a dispute broke out subsequently.

Police investigations into this case are still ongoing.
