Police arrest man, 33, for molesting woman in lift

SINGAPORE - A 33-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly molesting a 26-year-old woman while in the lift of a block at Anchorvale Drive.

Police said they received information today regarding the incident and through ground enquiries at the scene, the suspect was identified and arrested at the block on the same day.

The accused will be charged in court tomorrow for using criminal force with intent to outrage modesty, which carries a punishment of imprisonment of up to two years, a fine, caning, or any combination of such punishments.
