Police arrests lorry thief with help of GPS tracking device

SINGAPORE - A Global Positioning System (GPS) device fitted onboard a stolen lorry led police to its location, and the arrest of the thief.
On April 27 at about 10.10am, the 41-year-old victim reported to the police that his lorry, which he had parked along Tiong Bahru road was missing.
With the assistance of the GPS fitted onboard, officers managed to track down the whereabouts of the stolen lorry and the suspect.
Investigations are on-going.
