Police bust illlegal gambling den at Siang Kuang Ave

SINGAPORE - Police arrested 15 people aged between 30 and 56, for suspected involvement in operating and gaming in a gambling den at a commercial building along Siang Kuang Ave.
Officers from the Tanglin Police Division raided the place in a 9-hour operation on Wednesday evening. 17 modified computers, 2 game arcade machines and cash amounting to $2.552 were seized by the police.
Anyone convicted managing an illegal gambling den may be fined between $5,000 and $50,000, and jailed up to 3 years.
Anyone who is guilty of gambling illegally may be fined up to $5,000, or jailed up to 6 months, or both.
