Police investigating case involving boy with bruises at special school

SINGAPORE - An eight-year-old boy returned home from Rainbow Centre - Yishun Park School with bruises on his chest, back and other parts of the body on Monday.

Lianhe Wanbao reported that his grandmother found the bruises while preparing to shower him and informed his 31-year-old single mother.

The special school informed the mother that he had fallen down twice. But after a check-up at KK Women's and Children's Hospital, where an X-ray and blood test were conducted, she made a police report two days later.

Police confirmed that a police report had been made and that investigations are ongoing.
