Police looking for man to assist with investigations in theft case

SINGAPORE - A man in his 20s is being sought by the police to assist with investigations into a case of criminal misappropriation of property which happened at Block 607 Yishun Street 61 on Oct 6.

According to the police, the man has a slim build and was last seen wearing a grey t-shirt with blue jeans.

Anyone with information is requested to call the police hotline at 1800-255-0000, or submit information online at www.spf.gov.sg/CrimeStopper. All information will be kept strictly confidential.

In a separate incident, two suspects aged 19 and 21 were arrested for their involvement in a case of housebreaking at a Sentosa restaurant.

The incident was reported on Nov 2, and officers from Clementi Division arrested them in the vicinity of Oxley Road and Pasir Panjang Road two days later at around 11.30 am.

The suspects will be charged in court on Nov 6 for the offence of housebreaking. If convicted, they face a jail term which may extend to 14 years.
