Police recover stolen motorcycle and arrest alleged thief

Police said they have arrested a 30-year-old man suspected to be involved in a case of motorcycle theft.

The police said that they, acting on information received, recovered a stolen motorcycle in Jurong West Central yesterday. The suspect was arrested in the vicinity at about 8.15pm, they said.

The motorcycle was reported stolen in April this year.

The suspect will be charged in court tomorrow, the police said in a statement. If convicted, the suspect faces an imprisonment term of up to seven years and will be liable to a fine.
