Porsche driver hurt in crash

An accident along West Coast Highway yesterday morning caused a white Porsche to turn turtle, also damaging the road divider.

Police said they received a call about the accident near the Keppel exit at about 8.14am. It is understood to have involved two cars, the Porsche and a BMW.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force said it received a call around the same time about an overturned car along Telok Blangah Road. One ambulance and one fire bike were sent to the scene.

The 49-year-old driver of the mangled Porsche was fortunately not trapped and was taken conscious to the Singapore General Hospital after he complained to paramedics of head and neck pains. He also sustained cuts to his hands.

Police said that investigations are ongoing.
