Posting results to junior colleges, polytechnics and ITEs out this week

SINGAPORE - Posting results for the 2016 Joint Admissions Exercise (JAE) will be released at 9am on Thursday, Jan 28, the Ministry of Education announced today (Jan 25). Results for the Joint Polytechnic Special Admissions Exercise (JPSAE) will be released at the same time on Friday, Jan 29.

Applicants for JAE can assess their results via the JAE portal.  

They will also receive an SMS informing them of their results if they provided their mobile phone number during registration.

Those who applied for the JPSAE can view their results at the JPSAE portal

Students posted to a Junior College (JC) or the Millennia Institute (MI) should report to these institutions on Friday, at 7.30 am.

Meanwhile, those posted to a Polytechnic or Institute of Technical Education (ITE) course will receive further instructions via an enrolment package from the respective institutions by mail.

MOE added that applicants who wish to appeal for a transfer should approach the JC of their choice directly. The same goes for students who wish to transfer to MI.

For applicants under the JPSAE, appeals or transfers to another diploma course can be done via the Centralised Joint Polytechnic JAE appeal system, from 2pm on Friday to 4pm on Tuesday.

Those who wish to appeal for a place in the ITE can do so at the ITE portal, from 9am on Thursday, to next Wednesday.

The outcome of the appeals will be available at here from 9am, Monday, Feb 22, to Thursday, Feb 25.

Successful applicants are required to accept the offer by Feb 25.
