The JAE is conducted annually by the Ministry of Education (MOE) to allow Singapore-Cambridge GCE 'O' Level certificate holders to apply for admission to courses offered by junior colleges (JC), Millennia Institute (MI), polytechnics and Institute of Technical Education (ITE).

JAE applicants can obtain their results at the JAE website or via text message sent to the applicant's mobile phone number. JPSAE applicants can get their postings at the JPSAE portal.

Applicants posted to a JC or the MI should report to these institutions on Friday, Jan 30 at 7.30am, whereas applicants posted to a polytechnic or ITE will receive further instructions by mail.

Applicants who wish to appeal for a transfer to another JC or MI should approach the institution of their choice directly.

Students who wish to appeal for a place in a polytechnic diploma course or seek a transfer to another diploma course can do so via the Centralised Joint Polytechnic JAE appeal system.

The appeal can be made from Friday, Jan 30 at 9am, to Tuesday, Feb 3 at 4pm. The outcome of the JAE appeals will be released on the website at 2pm on Monday, Feb 9.

Those who wish to appeal for a place in ITE can do so at https://www.ite.edu.sg/wps/portal/intake, from 9am on Thursday, Jan 29 to 11.59pm on Wednesday, Feb 4.

The outcome of ITE appeals will be available at the website from 9am on Monday, Feb 23 to 11.59pm on Thursday, Feb 26.
