President thanks challenge supporters

President Tony Tan Keng Yam, pictured above with his wife Mary, hosted the President's Challenge "thank you" reception at the Istana on Wednesday to show appreciation to some 170 sponsors, beneficiaries and donors for their support of the President's Challenge, which raised $10.8 million.

The President noted that beyond raising funds, the objective of the Challenge is to build a stronger Singapore by encouraging people to do what they can, and to look out for one another.
