Pupils made up story about Peeping Tom

Police, following up on The New Paper report on Aug 9, "Peeping Tom chased me", have interviewed three Primary 6 pupils in Pasir Ris who claimed that a middle-aged man had peeped under their skirts while they were sitting on the steps at a playground.

The police have since ascertained that the girls made up their accounts to TNP.

They have since advised the girls and have told them not to spread rumours to cause unnecessary worry for residents.

The police continue to look for the suspects in the flashing and molest cases.
