SAF conducts military exercises from March 3 and March 10

The Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) will be conducting military exercises at Seletar, Marsiling, Jalan Bahar, Neo Tiew, Lim Chu Kang, Jalan Kwok Min, Tuas, Upper Jurong, Hong Kah, Ama Keng, Bedok Jetty, Kranji, Lentor, Simpang, Sembawang and Mandai from 8am on March 3 to 8am on March 10.

SAF MILITARY EXERCISES (ARMY)

During the military exercisesat the above-mentioned areas, blanks and thunderflashes will be used.

The public is advised not to be alarmed and to keep clear of these areas.

SAF LIVE FIRING EXERCISES (ARMY)

The Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) will conduct Live Firing Exercises in Pasir Laba (SAFTI) Live Firing Area from 08:00 am on Mon, 3 Mar 2014 to 08:00am on Mon 10 Mar 2014.

Sea vessels and crafts sailing through the Western Johor Straits from 08:00 am on Mon, 3 Mar 2014 to 08:00am on Mon, 10 Mar 2014 are to keep within the 75m Navigable Sea Lane and not to stray into the Live Firing Boundary.

Live ammunition and flares will be used.

The public is advised not to be alarmed and to keep clear of these areas.

SAF ANNOUNCEMENT

The islands of Pulau Sudong, Pulau Senang and Pulau Pawai are proclaimed manoeuvring and firing grounds. The public is advised to keep clear of these islands. The public is also advised to stay clear of the prohibited waters off Changi Naval Base and Tuas Naval Base.

RSAF LIVE-FIRING EXERCISES

The Republic of Singapore Air Force will be conducting Live Firing exercises around Pulau Sudong, Pulau Pawai and Pulau Senang from Mon, 3 Mar 2014 to Fri, 7 Mar 2014 daily from 7:00am to 11:00pm, and Sat 8 Mar 2014 8:00am to 1:00pm.

Flares will be released during the night firing.

The public is advised to keep clear of Pulau Pawai, Pulau Senang and Pulau Sudong which lie within the Live Firing Areas.
