SINGAPORE - A team of explosive experts deactivatingwhat the authorities described as a "war relic" on Monday, after it was found on a construction site on Jurong Island on Tuesday.
Specialists from the SAF's Explosive Ordnance Disposal team were called in by the police to remove what appeared to be an unexploded artillery shell. The experts brought the relic back to the mainland, after which it was disposed of at "a safe location".
