SG Heart Map to go on display from Nov 26-29

SG Heart Map, which maps out Singaporeans' most cherished places in the country, will go on display at The Float @ Marina Bay from Nov 26 to Nov 29.

It is the result of crowdsourcing efforts spanning a year that invited locals to share stories about the places where they live, work, play and eat, and is part of the nation's Golden Jubilee celebrations.

Changi Village, Singapore Botanic Gardens and Pulau Ubin are among those chosen as the '50 special places in Singaporeans' hearts'.

At the SG Heart Map Festival @ Float, visitors can enjoy artworks inspired by the stories of Singaporeans, crafted by seven local artists using prose, poetry, film, sketches, photographs, audio installations, illustrations and animations.

Visitors can also enjoy local movie hits such as Army Daze, 881, and Ali Baba Bujang Lapok at the outdoor cinema, as well as sample Singaporean dishes like satay, rice dumpling and handmade Peranakan desserts at the festival's food street.
