Shopkeeper arrested for dealing with stolen goods

SINGAPORE - A 41-year-old sundry shop owner was arrested on Feb 25, 2014 in the vicinity of Smith Street for dealing with stolen goods.

The man had been buying items such as pain-relief tablets, shaver cartridges and condoms, which police investigations revealed were allegedly stolen from stores around Singapore.

If found guilty, he can be jailed up to 5 years, fined or both.
