Sights and sounds at Night Festival

American musician William Close plays on the Earth Harp, the largest stringed instrument on the planet, in front of the National Museum of Singapore while nearby, Japanese dancer Katsumi Sakakura interacts with a pre-recorded multimedia projection.

Such works from local and international artists and performances are part of the seventh edition of the Singapore Night Festival, which kicked off yesterday.

Organised by the National Museum of Singapore, it will also run tonight, and next Friday and Saturday. All performances will take place between 7pm and 2am. The theme is Bold And Beautiful, and visitors can expect more than 130 activities across 10 venues in the arts and heritage district of Bras Basah and Bugis.
