Singapore and Brazil sign agreement for double taxation avoidance

SINGAPORE - The Government of the Republic of Singapore and the Government of the Federative Republic of Brazil signed the Agreement for the Avoidance of Double Taxation on Profits Derived from International Air and Shipping Transport in Brasilia, Brazil, on Dec 20, 2013.

The Agreement will come into immediate effect.

This important Agreement, negotiated in a spirit of friendship and cooperation, will entrench and facilitate the air and shipping connectivity between the two countries, and further support our already strong and growing economic, people-to-people and political relationship.
